Hi Kater1958
If you have made the account on Pokertime through us then I can - if you want - ask them what exactly is the problem and see if I can help in any way? Please give me your username at Pokertime and if you want me to contact them about this.

Query-Feedback
"Ben here from the poker support desk.
I received your
request to have your account closed and your deposits sent back to you. I would
be able to assist you to close the account for you, regrettably you will not be
able to receive your deposits back. The reason for this is that you have played
on the poker room and you have accepted bonuses and from the Poker Room.
You
will however be able to withdraw your cash balance from the account. Please note
that before this can be done you will have to accumulate 50 Poker points as per
the terms of the Poker Room.
If you are not sure how poker points are
accumulated let me clarify this for you. Poker points are received based on the
rake that you accumulate from each table on the Poker Room and for every $1 in
rake you will receive 2.5 poker points."
-Is forcing me participate in the
games.
I do not want to have to deal with scams!
Does forcing the game and
confiscation of my deposit is legal?

As I promised to you via PM I have spoken to my contacts at Pokertime and I believe we will be able to sort this out very soon and you will most likely get an invitation for the next first depositor's freeroll.
I don't know all the details yet but it is possible that you received an invitation to your Gmail e-mail account from them and it landed in the Spam/junk ?
Anyhow, I am sure we will solve your problem!

PokerTime Support Help
My name is Brett. I am from Poker Time Support and would like to reply to your post (“Is it fair advertising the pokerroom Pokertime?”) on the bonusbonusbonus.com forum.
After having read your post, I can determine that there are 2 main “issues” that we need to address, namely a) why you were not able to log into/access the First Depositors Freeroll and b) Why you are currently not able to withdraw any funds from your account.
First: why you were not able to log into/access the Depositors Freeroll.
The First Depositors Free Roll is a promotion is extended to players that make their first deposit with Poker Time and yes, once you make your first deposit with us, we do send out an e-mail inviting you to take part in this tournament.
In addition to making a first deposit, a player must also earn at least 1 poker point in order to be able to gain access to this tournament. The reason for this requirements, is to ensure that player’s taking part in the tournament are legitimate players and not “sharks” (i.e. players that have no intention of [ at the poker room and are simply trying to take free money.
This requirement is displayed in the Tournament Lobby (for the depositors Free Roll) & is also verified to the player in the e-mail inviting them to partake in the Depositors Free Roll. However, 99.99% of player’s don’t even notice this, as by the time they register/take part in this tournament, they have earned more than 1 poker point.

After having reviewed your account, I did notice that you did actually play in a $250.00 Depositors MTT Freeroll (on 12 Nov 2009), which was prior to you actually making a deposit with us. (At the time that you took part in the Depositors Free Roll, the only transaction on your account was the €7.00 Free that you had claimed when registering your account on 25 June 2009.)
Which means that technically, you owed us for a deposit as we had allowed you to play in a depositors freeroll prior to having made a deposit with us.
Second: Why you are currently not able to withdraw your current account balance.
When you registered your account with us, on 25 June 2009, you opted to receive the Free Money Sign up bonus, to the value of €7.00.
When you claimed this bonus, you were required to accept the terms and conditions of the promotion. One of these terms states that upon receiving the Free money bonus, before a player is able to withdraw funds from his/her account, the player would need to earn 50 poker points. This restriction applies even if you have lost the free money, as these lost funds do not come back to the poker room, but go to the winning player.
Having reviewed/audited your account, I can confirm that from the date you registered your account, until now, you had only earned 2.73 poker points from your play @ poker time. You would therefore have to earn another 47.27 points. However, once you have met this requirement, you would be able to with initiate a withdrawal from the poker room.
From what I can see, with the exception of the rare hand or two played on a Real Money Ring Game, the majority (approximately 98%) of your game play with us has been in Freeroll tournaments.
Points are earned by playing at Real Money Ring Game Tables, or by buying into Single or Multi-Table Tournaments, however, Freeroll tournaments are excluded in this regard, as it is the poker room that is covering the buy-in.
I hope this information assists you and clarifies the issues your raised.
Should you have any additional queries, please let us know.
Regards
Brett

I believe rules are rules and if this rule is in the Ts&Cs of Pokertime then I don't see why they should give you the deposit back. I would like to help you but I really can't force Pokertime to act beyond their own rules and I noticed that you brought this very same matter to the attention of another forum community and they told you the very same thing.
I also think that 50 poker points shouldn't be too big an obstacle to jump over. You took the bonus, so you should at least fulfil the minimum requirements of wagering.

There was actually only one complaint in this thread and this was a bonus issue. Let me point out that there is really no reason to avoid Pokertime !!You could better all avoid poker time, if you have got so much troubles with them....![]()
They are in fact a bunch of very honest business people. Also a 10$ no deposit bonus isn't shabby either.
