Original Post:

As many of you may have already heard (especially if you are a player at one of the affected poker rooms), Full Tilt, PokerStars and Absolute Poker have closed their doors to American players. This is the result of an FBI investigation, which has alleged the three companies violated US regulations on online gambling.

You can read more about these events here: http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/15/news/eco…er_indictments/

The official FBI indictment is also publically available: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=e…=CJ6Jmu0C&pli=1

In response to the news, a number of poker rooms have changed their signup policies to include more attractive bonus offers, including:
Titan Poker is also offering Full Tilt and PokerStars players the chance to retain their VIP membership level if they sign up at Titan.

Those are very interesting news and we'll try to keep you all up to date on what's happening at the 3 poker rooms in question.

The situation is clearly twofold:

On the one hand playing on FTP and Pokerstars now should be a lot easier for us donks out there because all the strong US players are out of the picture at the moment.

But then again on the other hand can we really feel safe having our money in those rooms?

From my point of view as a non US player I believe playing at those poker rooms is safe but I would not vouch for any of them at the moment. It is just all too surprising and sudden.

Probably not for very much longer I am afraid.

I guess Doylesroom and Carbon Poker will still be a viable option. You can also try Intertops Poker in my opinion. They are one of the oldest gaming brands out there, very respectable and trustworthy and as far as I know still US-friendly.

yeah I been testing alot of poker clients that still take u.s. players.
But not like the poker clients...I'm guessing I'm so use to stars and tilt clients.
But I'll find my home soon hopefully.. if not then I guess I'll start playing live.
