Progressive bets
Progressive bets is one of them, and applicable in a series of casino games. The main idea is that you always increase your bet when you lose and come back to the ”base bet” when you win.
Suppose your bet is on an event that doubles your bet. You first bet X. If you lose, you bet 2X, then 4X and so on. When you finally win, you come back to betting X. This way, every time you win, you add X to your bankroll.
Of course, I do not know if this is completely acceptable in the casinos, but at least for a short period of time I guess you can apply it.

For example, you bet $5 and you lose. The next bet is $10, if you win, you get $20, that's the $10 you bet, the $5 you lost the first time and $5 more! If you lose with a bet of $10, bet $20. You can win $40, that's the $20 you bet, the $5 you lost the first time and the $10 you lost the last time, plus $5! The idea here is to double your last bet... Eventually, if you have enough bankroll you can pull it off and win!
It may look like you may only win $5, but imagine you get the winning color several times in a row. It happens often. You could win a few hundreds if you push it.
It's not much, it's a steady growth more or less. I don't know if it is ok with most casinos, though.

It is ok for most casinos and online casinos especially because they know that it is not really a winning strategy unfortunately.Nice post! I know something like this for Roulette as well. Apparently you have to stick with betting on only one color (Red or Black), and increase your bet. You double your wager if you win. So you start by say $5, and no matter if you win or lose, add another $5.

The main problem is that not only the winning color may come several times in a row but also the losing color and at some point you will have run out of cash to keep on progressing. That is of course true for online casinos online that do not offer real micro limits to play. I can imagine that it works if you wager with only US$ 0.10 in the beginning. But still.... only one immense losing streak may kill you and your strategy forever!

It is quite improbable that in an event with two outcomes one of them will occur 20 times in a row, so if the upper limit for the table is much higher than the minimum bet, this could actually work.
But if that would be true, I guess this strategy would become as welcomed in the casinos as "counting cards in blackjack" currently is

Well, in online casinos card counting is not that much of a threat to the casinos then in live casinos to be honestThat is true, the only thing that is keeping this from being a true strategy is the limited bankroll at a player's disposal and, most important, the betting limit for a table, that casinos usually have.
