Live Poker in Germany

I feel a little ashame but even if I am native german speaker, I never played 1 hand in a german poker casino ;(.

I was born in Vienna, Austria and I don´t go to Germany very often.

I can just tell you what my friends told me - very good live games there. I heard that poker is just allowed in (by the government regulated) casinos where they take away very high percentage of the rake.
So many private poker clubs opened very quickly or the are playing some nice games in hotels or restaurants.

They told me just go in the offical casinos (called "Spielbanken") and play some hands there and ask around at the tables (not officially but small talk). You will get very fast very nice adresses of good live poker games...

Thats all I can say so far - if anybody has more infos - pleeeeeaaaasssse let us know ;).

Here 1 official, very nice, german casino in Bad Reichenhall (close to the austrian border).
