The poker professional Johnny „The Orient Express“ Chan was born in 1957 in Guanghzou (formally Canton), China as the oldest of three children and is one of the best poker players in the world without doubt. The man who has won ten WSOP titles (February, 2008) so far, spent the first six years of his life in Guanghzou, where his family lived in very modest conditions. Then they moved to Hong Kong before they emigrated to the U.S. three years later. The family first went to live in Phoenix but they finally settled down in Houston, because Johnny’s father opened a restaurant there...
