Cash Game Details

The Paddy Power Poker software comes with all the most important poker varieties:

  • Texas Hold’em
  • Omaha
  • Omaha Hi/Lo
  • 7 Card Stud
  • 5 Card Stud

While all the Stud games are limit games, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo can be played both at limit and pot limit. Texas Hold’em is played either limit, pot limit or no limit.

Paddy Power Poker caters to players of any budget: you will find anything from exceedingly low micro-limits of only a few cents to remarkably high blind structures of about $ 300/600.

Tournament Details

The regular Paddy Power Poker tournaments with set starting times are of the Texas Hold’em (limit, pot limit and no limit) and pot limit Omaha as well as Omaha Hi/Lo variety.

The buy-ins for these tournaments range between just about one and several hundred dollars. A selection of these tournaments can be played in rebuy and turbo format.

Up to a certain point, rebuy tournaments give players the chance to purchase a new set of tournament chips, even if they have already lost all the chips they originally received for the buy-in. In turbo tournaments, the blinds are raised in shorter intervals than usual. This increases both excitement and risk for the players, but with a little luck one can win a fair bit of money within a relatively short space of time.

Paddy Power Poker users can play Sit & Go tournaments at heads-up tables for two players, at single tables or in multiple table format. The buy-ins for these Sit & Gos range between just a few cents and more than $ 1,000. Some Sit & Gos can also be played as turbo tournaments.

Additionally, Paddy Power Poker hosts many freerolls and guaranteed tournaments as well as satellite tourneys to major live tournaments.
In Paddy Power Poker’s particularly exciting “Bounty Hunter” tournaments, the bounty hunter becomes the hunted. (Further details in our “Promotions & Jackpots” section.)

Rake

Paddy Power Poker’s rake structure complies with the industry standards. 5% – that is between $ 0.01 and a maximum of $ 5 – are taken from each pot. The exact rake amount depends on the blind structure and the number of players contributing to the pot.

According to the “no flop, no drop” rule, Paddy Power Poker does not charge any rake at all for hands that do not reach the flop.
