The second event, the 1,500 dollar No limit Hold'em tournament, also wasn't crowned with success for me either. After 45 minutes I was eliminated and then spent the afternoon in the hotel room because I was still dealing with a headache.

Then that evening I went out to eat with Sascha Biorac and Markus Lehmann at the Sensi, a very good restaurant in the Hotel Bellagio. Later Johannes Strassmann also ran into us. After the meal, a bottle of wine and a few other drinks we made a few bets. Markus Lehmann said if he gets to a final table then he would also win that tournament. I put 10k on it, for a quote of 1 to 1. As a result, Johannes said with utter confidence that he was would come to a final table in this WSOP and would bet everything on it. Markus and I both took this offer for 10k.

I wish both of them luck, but still hope that this dinner won't cost me 20k.
