Since Cake Poker has been online for only a short time now, there are still a limited number of cash games available. Yet, as in most cases, Texas Hold’em is the most popular poker variation at Cake Poker and there are always plenty of tables to choose from for any limit. The poker variations offered include:
Texas Hold'em
Omaha
Omaha Hi/Lo
Texas Hold’em and Omaha Hi/Lo are available as limit, no limit, and pot limit games, although players playing Omaha Hi games have to do without no limit games. The limits are at the lower end of the spectrum corresponding to the easy-going play and the many loose players at Cake Poker.
Tournament Details
At Cake Poker, players have an exceptionally wide selection of different kinds of tournaments to choose from. Especially the number of freeroll tournamentsoffered is amazing. Of course, there are also Sit & Go tournaments, as well as full table, heads-up table, and even multi-table variations – providing something for everyone’s taste.
Furthermore, Cake Poker also offers its customers special freerolls that are only accessible to those holding certain Gold Cards (for details please refer to our “Jackpots & Promotions” section).
Rake
The rake at Cake Poker is a little higher than at other poker rooms, especially for higher limit games, but it never amounts to more than $ 5. Cake Poker applies the so-called “no flop, no drop” policy, where no rake is charged if the hand ends before a flop.
