About the Company

The Fortuna Group was founded in May of 1990, in the Czech Republic and is composed of market-leading companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Croatia. The Fortuna Group boasts a dense network of branch offices that comply with the legislation applicable in each of their respective countries. Online betting is provided exclusively on the Czech and Slovakian websites. All odds are created by a professional team of bookmakers, which are then often used by their competition as well. Fortuna is a successful partner of many famous sports clubs such as Sparta Prague and Slavia Prague. They are also a main partner of the Slovak national football team and have started a successful partnership with one of the best Croatian football players, Robert Prosinecki. The corporation has over 1,500 branches, 600 of which are in the Czech Republic, 375 in Slovakia, 360 in Poland and 226 in Croatia. The weekly magazine, Fortuna, which includes the current bets being offered, an event calendar and an extensive compilation of statistics and analyses, is available in every branch office.

The betting options include wagers on sports such as football, tennis, hockey, volleyball, basketball, baseball, ski and motorsports, as well as less common sports such as curling. Fortuna offers the following betting types:

• Single Bets ("Solo") – Single Bets (Solo): a bet on a single event, with a single forecast

• System Bets – various combinations of Akku (Ako) bets per bet slip

• Live Bets - Live bets are available for a number of different types of sports at Fortuna including football, hockey, basketball and tennis. Current statistics and an event calendar make it easy for customers to keep track of live betting.

In addition to classic sports betting, Fortuna also offers its customers a broad spectrum of lotteries and entertainment bets that are, of course, customized to fit the wants and needs of the various countries. So for example, Polish bettors can wager on the outcome of the popular show Taniec z gwiazdami (the Polish version of the British reality show “Dancing with the Stars”). The website is available in Czech, Slovak, Polish and Croatian. In the upper right portion of the website, you will find a section where you can check your betting slip and with just one mouse click you can see whether or not you won, as well as how much you won if you got lucky.
