General Information The betting exchange BETDAQ was founded in 2000 and is operated by Global Betting Exchange Limited. The business is headquartered in Dublin and fully licensed in Ireland. The Betdaq website was launched in 2001. In a betting exchange, users bet against other users, without the involvement of a bookmaker. Betters can either offer their own odds or accept those offered by others. Range of Bets BETDAQ provides a great selection of sports including football (soccer), basketball, hockey, Australian and American football, tennis, boxing, rugby, golf, darts, snooker and cricket as well as GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) events such as Gaelic football and hurling. Wagers on dogs and horses are also offered. Like in most other betting exchanges, live bets are of special importance on BETDAQ and are therefore available for all sports offered. Bettors can literally wager to the very last second of sporting events. BETDAQ provides numerous alternative bets. For example, for soccer, over/unders, half-time and handicap bets are all available. The ever more popular Asian Handicap betting option is also provided.
Since 2006, Betdaq has also accepted parlay bets, whereby two single bets are combined into a sole wager. Games and more… BETDAQ has yet to include a casino in its software (as of July, 2012), but instead offers a very exclusive poker room (BETDAQ Poker), with a huge choice of poker variations and a poker school. Information about the Website The BETDAQ website is available in English, Chinese and simplified Chinese. Because the “Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006“ does not allow American banks and credit card companies to transfer money to online bookmakers, Betdaq does not accept wagers from betters in the United States.
